divorced, rich, poor, faults, and all!
- Heartland is a church where you
can come and be yourself, and if you wish, keep to yourself.
- We don’t care how much money you
make, how big your house is, how well you dress, or what kind of
car you drive.
- We don’t care if you’ve ever
been to church, or what your background is.
- We won’t pressure you to get
involved, or to give financially.
We
promise to help you discover your relationship with God…without
pressure.
- Small groups, special seminars,
Inside Heartland, and Discovery are all designed to encourage
you in your relationship with God.
- We believe spiritual seekers find
God through a process that happens one person at a time, one
step at a time.
- We can’t promise you that every
step of your spiritual discovery will be easy or enjoyable, but
we will promise not to hurry you.
We
promise you interesting, relevant Sunday services: goodbye boring
sermons, and organ music.
- Our Sunday messages are inspiring
and contain practical suggestions that help you right now.
- Each service is fast paced and
features upbeat music and drama or video related to the day’s
theme.
- Our dramas, frequently humorous,
focus on the challenges of real life we all face. You’ll think
we’ve been spying on you!
We
promise to support your parenting effort because children need God
in their lives too.
- We understand that even the best
of parents can use help raising children in today’s world.
- We welcome all children at Kids
Company on Sundays even if they’ve never attended church
before.
- We accept teens just the way they
are—they don’t have to make major lifestyle changes in order
to fit in.
- Youth group activities stress
sharing and caring for each other.
- We’ll help teens get a grip on
the realities and responsibilities of adult life.
