VIEW HEARTLAND

Welcome!

The purpose of this series is to give you a better ‘view’ of Heartland Community Church so that you can learn who we are and why we do what we do, connect with others, and allow us to help you make the most of your Heartland experience.

The series is comprised of four parts which are designed to introduce you to the church, to help you discover your God-given gifts and talents, to give you an understanding of Heartland's beliefs as well as practices and to look for opportunities in which you can use your gifts and talents at Heartland.

Many people ask about becoming a "Member" at Heartland.  This workshop explains why we have "Partners" rather than "Members". 

The V I E W series looks like this:

1. Vision—Answer your questions about Heartland, our purpose, our values and our mission.

2. Insight—Gain insight into the beliefs and practices of Heartland and why we do what we do.

3. Engage—Discover your personal G.E.A.R. (Gifts, Experiences, Abilities, Resources) - how you are uniquely wired and how you relate to others.

4. Wide Lens—See the bigger picture, and find out where you fit into the ministry of Heartland according to your gifts, your experiences, and your interests.

In order to receive the full benefit of the series, it is recommended that you complete the classes as offered in their entirety. However, there will be no arm-twisting to get you to serve or to become a partner of Heartland. That step may be taken at any time you feel that commitment is appropriate for you.

Series Dates and Times:

The winter VIEW workshop will take place during our second service on Sunday mornings.  Childcare is provided for children of all ages.
