Welcome to the Heartland Community Church Kid's Company page!

• For children under the age of 3, we offer infant and toddler care in a loving safe environment. Take time to look at the different programs we have for your children!

In Kid's Company we offer exciting interactive programs for children from age 3 thru 5th grade:

• Children ages 3 thru Kindergarten use the Gospel Light Movers and Shakers curriculum. Gospel Light offers creative learning activities that encourage kids to move around and explore their world. Each week each child will be given a take home sheet packed with fun things to do and practical advice and tips for parents.

• For children in Grades 1 through 5, 252 Basics is an easy-to-use curriculum designed to put your mind at ease and your heart into overdrive. It centers on 3 Basic Truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52:
• I need to make the wise choice.
• I can trust God no matter what.
• I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

By the time children reach the fifth grade, we want them to understand and own these 3 Basic Truths, so they’re reinforced each week. We also focus on a core virtue each month. This virtue is supported by the weekly bottom line—the learning aim for the day.

On the whole, 252 Basics utilizes Bible stories, a core virtue, and a memory verse each month while offering engaging presentations of the 3 Basic Truths. We also throw in some handy illustrations of how God works in our lives to make us more like Him. To top it off, you receive each month’s virtue song, which can be used during your worship or music time to give the curriculum that added depth. 252 Basics—comprehensive, but simple.

Sign In/Out Procedures

All children in Lil’ Kid’s Company (Nursery-Kindergarden) should be signed in and out each week. Please fill out the classroom sign-in sheet completely including any special instructions the teacher may need to know. Once signed in, the parent/guardian is given a tag with a number corresponding to the tag # on the sign in sheet. Please have this card ready to show to the teacher when you come to pick up your child.

Paging System

In the event that your child needs you during the service, your child’s tag # will appear on the digital paging system located to the right of the stage above the exit door in the auditorium. If this should happen, please report to your child’s classroom as soon as possible.

Kid's Company Leadership

All volunteers in Kid’s Company have been through an extensive application process. We are dedicated to the safety of your child and are confident that the volunteers are committed to your child’s well being and development.
