What makes Heartland Community Church so different ...

A Different Audience                                        
At Heartland, we specifically design our weekend services to meet the needs of "spiritual seekers" - those who are investigating the claims of Christianity, rather than to the already convinced. We work hard to provide seekers with a safe atmosphere from which to carry on their search into biblical truth.

A Different Approach
We are committed to using a variety of current and creative forms for expressing biblical truth. Thus, our weekend services make use of video, drama, instrumentals, and vocals along with a relevant, down-to-earth message on topics the seeker can relate to and understand.

A Different Sensitivity
While we are always excited about the many visitors who attend Heartland, we are careful to provide seekers with a place where they can remain anonymous if they choose. Unchurched people who risk attending Heartland will not be singled out, embarrassed, or asked to say anything, sign anything, or give anything.

HCC is a group of people from all walks of life who are being changed by Jesus Christ. Every week, we join together to worship God and to experience a relevant and powerful message which teaches truths from the Bible. We are passionate about sharing the love of Christ by caring for each other and positively impacting our community. The mission of HCC is "to connect spiritual seekers to God and a growing community of Christ followers". This has been the foundation for everything we do since 1995 when we began.

What are the services like?

Our weekend experiences at HCC are comprised of the two primary elements: worship and a life-changing message. Worship is led by a worship team along with a talented, rock'n live band and a style consistent with today's culture. A weekend service lasts for about one hour.


What about my children?

Kid's Company, the children's experience at Heartland CC, is designed uniquely for ages birth through fifth grade. While in Kid's Company, your child will experience engaging age-appropriate teaching, music and activities all developed to point your child toward a daily relationship with Jesus. Kid's Company experiences are staffed by dedicated volunteers who will be there week after week to care for and give love to your child.


Anything for Students?

The youth ministry of HCC, has multiple opportunities for students in sixth grade through twelfth grade to get involved and is dedicated to connecting the heart of your student to the heart of God. Jr. High meets Sundays from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Sr. High meets from 11 AM to 12 Noon. Students are also encouraged to take part in the Sunday adult experience with their parents.
