A remarriage often presents unique challenges that most couples don’t recognize until after the wedding. As a stepmom for 26 years Laura shares how to:
- Embrace realistic expectations and dreams for a stepfamily.
- Identify and overcome stepfamily complexities.
- Help kids who struggle with a new parent and siblings.
- Survive the financial strain of a stepfamily.
- Create strategies that strengthen and unify the marriage

Laura Petherbridge serves couples and single adults with topics on spiritual growth, relationships, marriage enhancement, and divorce recovery.
She is an international speaker and author of, When “I Do” Becomes “I Don’t”—Practical Steps for Healing During Separation and Divorce, endorsed by Billy Graham’s daughter—Gigi, Multi-Dove Award winner Kim Hill, and Dr. Archibald Hart, senior professor of psychology at Fuller Theological Seminary.
