Volunteer

At Heartland Community Church, we believe that each person has the God-given capability to minster to others. Therefore, we purposefully aim at "giving ministry away."

With that in mind, HCC has been blessed with some incredible volunteers. Every Spring, we have the opportunity to say "Thank You!" to over 200 adult volunteers. (That's about 60% of the adults who attend.) In many ways, HCC is a church run by volunteers.

Below is a list of ministries in which people can get connected at Heartland. Before you get directly involved, however, we ask that you attend the VIEW classes where you will find out more about Heartland, about your spiritual gifts, and about how you can use them at HCC.

Ministries at Heartland:

Care Community - Serving our church community in times of need - hospital visits, meals, prayer

Hospitality (Café) Team Sunday AM - serve coffee, juice and bagels in HCC Café

People Works - Discovery follow-up to get people connected

Welcome Team - Greeters, Ushers, and Information Center

Shoppers Ministry - Shop for clothing for families in need

Children's Ministry - Nursery through Grade School

Programming Team - Plans the various elements of the Sunday services

Prayer Team

God's Crew - Take care of maintaining the building and the grounds

Drama Team - Performs live drama on Sunday mornings

Community Connections - Organizes events to connect with and serve our community

Church Events - Coordinates hospitality at the all-church events

Youth - Jr & Sr High School youth activities

Tech Team - Sound/lights/video

Men’s Fraternity

Celebrate Recovery - Helps people break free from their habits, hurts, and hang-ups

Worship Team - band and vocals for the Sunday services
